Model profile
The GV70 launched for the 2022 model year in the US, built on the same rear-drive-based platform as the Genesis G70 and G80. A battery-electric Electrified GV70 followed, notable because it is assembled in Montgomery, Alabama. A comprehensive facelift arrived for the 2026 model year with revised styling, a larger integrated display and updated cabin technology.
Powertrain and equipment
Two combustion engines cover the US range. The 2.5T is a 2.5-litre turbo four making around 300 hp; the 3.5T is a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 producing about 375 hp with strong mid-range and quick throttle response.

US GV70s use amber-integrated front indicators, a rear cluster without a separate rear fog lamp, and mph instruments. Headlights follow the US beam pattern.
