Your dream car from America or Canada - vehicle portals where you can still search!
Still looking for your US dream car? At USCT, you will find a wide selection of vehicles currently available in the USA or Canada. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with including other platforms in your search. It’s even recommended. While there are often overlaps in offerings between sites, rarely is there exact congruence. The pickup, van, or classic car of your dreams may have just been listed on another site.
We have compiled the largest and most popular platforms for US vehicles and cars from Canada for you. Happy searching!
The most important and largest platforms include:
Vehicle Portals USA

CarGurus has been around since 2006 and initially started as an auto community blog, eventually evolving into a trading platform. CarGurus is mainly used by dealers. CarGurus also operates several country-specific sites, including in the USA.

Autotrader has existed since 1997 and is the largest platform for new and used cars operated in the USA. About 3.5 million dealer listings are posted annually. The stated prices are almost all non-negotiable. A good reason to use the USCT service "Purchase Processing" (this also applies to other platforms).

Cars.com was founded in 1998 and is considered the second-largest site for new and used cars in the USA. Listings include both dealer and private seller ads for all common brands, models, and price ranges.

The name says it all. Since 2002, classiccars.com has offered classic and collector vehicles for sale on the US car market. It is considered the largest portal of its kind in the USA, consistently listing over 30,000 vehicles.

Hemmings Motor News is a long-established monthly US auto magazine. Vehicles are offered on the hemmings.com website, with a focus on antique, classic, and exotic sports cars.

AutotraderClassics is a branch of Autotrader and is focused on classic vehicles. It offers everything that makes the hearts of classic car fans beat faster: classic vehicles, vintage cars, muscle cars, collector vehicles, street rods, and other rarities in the 30+ category.
Auction Platforms USA

Bringatrailer (meaning "bring a trailer") is likely the largest auction platform for classic cars and vintage vehicles in the USA and has gradually developed into the number one since 2007. Vehicles are sold via auction. Listings can receive bids within a specified period, and the highest bid wins the auction. Other auction platforms operate in a similar way.

iaai.com specializes in "damaged" vehicles. Economic write-offs, damaged vehicles, or vehicles with low residual value are auctioned. The offers come from insurers, dealers, fleet leasing, and rental car companies, or non-commercial organizations.

Copart.com started in 1996 and is focused on auctioning used, fleet, and accident vehicles. It offers a wide range of vehicles – from common models to vintage cars and specialty vehicles. The cars are also offered by institutional sellers.
