The Chrysler Voyager is the value-focused member of Chrysler's minivan family — mechanically a close twin of the Pacifica, but stripped of some luxury features to hit a lower price and serve fleets.

The Voyager name has deep roots: the Plymouth and Chrysler Voyager minivans (1984–2003) helped invent the segment. The modern Voyager revived the badge for 2020 as the entry-level version of the RU-platform Pacifica. Initially offered in L and LX trims, it briefly became a fleet-only model before returning to retail sale as a straightforward value minivan.

The Voyager uses a single, well-known drivetrain: the 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 producing around 287 hp and 262 lb-ft, driving the front wheels through a 9-speed automatic (the 948TE unit).
The Voyager is a five-door minivan with sliding rear doors, offered in L, LX and later LXi grades.

Because many Voyagers went into rental and commercial fleets, the US used market offers plenty of examples, often at higher mileage than a comparable Pacifica.

Pre-purchase review
Sharing the Pacifica's hardware, the Voyager inherits both its strengths and its known weak points. The 3.6 Pentastar is durable but can develop oil leaks around the cooler and cylinder-head area on higher-mileage examples, so check for seepage. The 9-speed automatic is smooth when healthy but has drawn complaints about occasional hesitation or jerky low-speed shifts; a car with up-to-date transmission software behaves best.
Germany and Europe
US Voyagers read speed in mph, use combined red rear lamps with no separate amber indicator or rear fog lamp, and follow US daytime-running-light rules.
For German approval the Voyager usually needs a rear fog lamp added, the rear indicators changed to amber where required, a headlight beam-pattern check, and the odometer and speedometer documented in kilometres.
